With the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard you have free admission to numerous attractions and reduced prices for many activities. Here is just a small selection of the countless hikes and adventures in the area. So plan enough time, because the offer is limitless.
Halseralm
You can reach the Halseralm on foot in 45 minutes, ideal for families with children. A large playground offers fun for younger guests. The highlight of the over 400-year-old alpine pasture is the flambéed Kaiserschmarren and the many animals.
Sonnenalm
The walk to the hut takes about 1 hour. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Enns Valley and the Schladminger Tauern while you fortify yourself with our homemade delicacies. There is also a large playground and lots of animals to pet.
With the Sommercard you can use the combined chairlift and gondola lift. Once at the top, a hut and the adjacent giant playground with great views await you. The fairytale trail then takes you back down again. The Ramsau Beach, Coaster, forest high ropes course, archery, laser biathlon, Kali's puzzle rally and the Flyline are also located at the valley station.
The TV series “Die Bergretter” is filmed very close to our apartment house. You have the opportunity to visit well-known filming locations such as the Emilie farm, the mountain rescue center and many other locations. With a bit of luck, you might even meet one of the popular actors!
Numerous cycle paths lead you through green alpine pastures, past crystal-clear mountain lakes and to idyllic mountain villages.
Ramsau round 7
This beautiful tour can be started directly from the house. The pure riding time is 4:45h. This tour is a highlight in our region - magnificent views from various vantage points, as well as rapid downhills paired with selective mountain stages. You can find more information here.
Bike & Hike - Silberkarklamm
A wonderful route combining bike and hike is the one to the Silberkarklamm gorge. You start by bike directly from the house. After a 40-minute ride, the bike is parked and you continue on foot over steps through the impressive backdrop of the roaring torrent of the Silberkarklamm.
Pichler Badesee: A refreshing dip in the clear waters of the Pichler Badesee! There is a bouncy castle, playground and climbing wall for children. Adults and teenagers can enjoy beach volleyball, a soccer pitch and table tennis.
Ramsau Beach: Popular meeting place in the mountain scenery of Ramsau am Dachstein with swimming fun and lots of activities for young and old.
Dachstein Bad: The Dachstein Bad in Ramsau offers relaxation and fun in the midst of an impressive mountain landscape.
Here in the region, the Dachstein Glacier is definitely one of the highlights. With the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard, you even get a free ascent with the gondola for two or more nights. Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Take the step up the stairs to nowhere and overcome your fear of heights by crossing the spectacular suspension bridge that leads to the entrance of the Ice Palace. As winter conditions prevail at the summit even in midsummer, we recommend high hiking boots and warm, windproof clothing.
The hike starts with the Preunegg Jet gondola. Head towards Rippeteck via the Gasselhöhe and the mountain, Rippeteck. After a short ascent, you reach the summit at 2,126 m. From there, the trail leads steeply downhill to the Gasselsee lakes, including the famous Spiegelsee lake, and finally slightly downhill back to the Reiteralmsee lake.
Variant via Untersee: Halfway from the Spiegelsee, a variant via the Untersee and the “Stille Wasser” theme trail is possible (allow approx. 30 to 40 minutes more for this.
